How to choose your size combination
Order the combination centered on the size your provider recommended:
- If recommended size is 3 → order 2+3 or 3+4
- If recommended size is 4 → order 3+4 or 4+5
- If recommended size is 5 → order 4+5 or 5+6
- If recommended size is 6 → order 5+6 or 6+7
- If recommended size is 7 → order 6+7 or 7+8
Most US patients fit sizes 3–5 (64–76 mm), so 3+4 and 4+5 are the most-ordered combinations.

Care and cleaning
Wash each device with warm water and mild, unscented soap before first use and between insertions. Do not use alcohol, petroleum-based products, or harsh disinfectants. With proper care, expected device life is 1–2 years per device of regular use.
Frequently asked questions
Are both pessaries in the combo pack new?
Yes — both pessaries are factory-sealed, individually pouched, with size/lot/expiry markings. Neither has been opened, tried, or autoclaved before shipping.
Can I wear the open-ring pessary during sex?
Yes, for most patients the open-ring (without-support) design can be worn during intercourse without removal — the open center allows penetration. This is one reason the open-ring is preferred over the with-support design for sexually active patients.
What if neither size in the combo fits?
Return the unopened pack within 30 days for a free size exchange. If you've opened one device, contact us at sales@scimedstore.com — we can swap the unopened device for free and offer a partial refund for the opened one.
Is the combo pack covered by insurance / HSA / FSA?

What's the difference between this and the 3-size right-size pack?
The 2-size combo ($84.99) covers 2 consecutive sizes — use it when you're between two specific sizes. The 3-size right-size pack ($119.99) covers 3 consecutive sizes — use it when your fit is less certain or for re-fitting after weight change/PT/surgery.
Why "without support" vs "with support"?
The without-support (open ring) is the standard first-line ring pessary for prolapse without cystocele. The with-support combo pack adds a membrane that provides additional bladder neck support — preferred for patients with concurrent stress urinary incontinence or cystocele. Most patients start with the without-support design.
Are sizes 8 and 9 also available in the combo pack?
Yes — the without-support combo is available in 7+8 and 8+9 combinations. Size 9 (102 mm) is unique to the without-support range and useful for patients with significantly enlarged vaginal vault — typically post-childbirth, post-hysterectomy, or advanced prolapse.
How long does the fitting trial typically take?
Most patients can assess fit within 1 week of daily wear. Signs of correct fit: pessary stays in place during normal activity, no discomfort, no urinary obstruction, you can urinate and have bowel movements normally. If unsure, work with your gynecologist or urogynecologist.
