Couldn't load pickup availability
Working teaching model of an air-cooled 4-stroke petrol engine (Otto cycle) — cutaway construction reveals piston, valves, crankshaft, connecting rod, and camshaft in motion. Demonstrates the four strokes of internal combustion: Intake → Compression → Power (Combustion) → Exhaust. Valve operation clearly visible during rotation via hand crank. Mounted on polished wooden base with printed schematic diagram (labels the components + shows the Otto cycle phases). 450mm overall height. For mechanical engineering + automotive technology + physics teaching in universities, technical colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, and secondary science schools. $999.99 direct.

FAQ
Does this actually run on petrol / fuel?
No — this is a CUTAWAY WORKING MODEL for teaching, not a functional engine. Students rotate a hand crank to demonstrate the 4-stroke Otto cycle mechanically. Valves open/close, piston moves up/down, camshaft rotates in synchronization — all mechanically driven by the crank. No fuel, no ignition, no combustion. Fully safe for classroom use.
What cycle phases can students see?
All 4 strokes of the Otto cycle: Intake (piston down, intake valve open), Compression (piston up, both valves closed), Power / Combustion (piston down, both valves closed — spark event indicated), Exhaust (piston up, exhaust valve open). Complete cycle = 2 crankshaft revolutions. Students see valve timing coordination via the camshaft.
Is a schematic / diagram included?
Yes — the polished wooden base includes a printed schematic diagram identifying each component (piston, cylinder, connecting rod, crankshaft, camshaft, intake valve, exhaust valve, spark plug location). Component labels included.
What other engine models do you have?
Complete IC engine teaching set: 4-stroke petrol (this), 2-stroke petrol, 4-stroke diesel, 2-stroke diesel, steam engine, Wankel rotary engine, Stirling engine. Bundle discount available on 3+ different types.
Is instructor training material included?
Instructor's guide covers: cycle explanation script, common student questions, suggested lab experiments (measure valve timing, calculate compression ratio, plot P-V diagram from cycle). Available on request.
