• Burette — TPX Plastic, 25-100 mL, Individually Calibrated ($99) — TPX (polymethylpentene) burette available in 25, 50, 100 mL. Shatter-resistant alternative to glass. Each unit individually calibrated and labeled.
• Plastic Burette PMMA 100mL — Individually Calibrated, Transparent ($99) — PMMA (acrylic) burette, highly transparent, individually calibrated.

When to buy plastic vs glass burettes

• TPX plastic: High-temperature chemistry (up to ~175°C), shatter-resistant for teaching labs with heavy student rotation, strongly resistant to most acids and bases.
• PMMA plastic: Clearest optical read, best for routine acid-base titration where high temperature isn't required. Less expensive breakage replacement vs borosilicate glass.
• Glass (borosilicate, Pyrex): Standard for research-grade analytical chemistry where precision + chemical resistance matter more than cost. We can source on request.
