Hand-held 350 ml liquid nitrogen cryogun for dermatology and cryosurgery. Designed for direct-spray cryotherapy of skin lesions, the unit ships with 6 interchangeable freeze heads for different lesion sizes and depths. Liquid nitrogen at −196 °C delivers freezing roughly three times faster than nitrous oxide (N₂O) at −79 °C, with no anesthesia required for most procedures.

Clinical applications

  • Skin tag and wart removal
  • Actinic keratosis and seborrheic keratosis
  • Cryotherapy of benign skin lesions
  • Adjunct for select basal cell carcinoma protocols (per dermatologist judgment)
  • Skin tumors as indicated

Why dermatologists use it

  • Faster freezing — liquid nitrogen at −196 °C requires roughly one-third the contact time of CO₂ snow or N₂O at −79 °C
  • Direct-spray application — trigger-controlled spray of liquid nitrogen onto the lesion
  • No anesthesia required — most superficial cryotherapy can be performed in the consulting room
  • Single-handed operation — no assistant needed for routine lesion cryotherapy
  • Multiple lesions per session — 350 ml capacity supports treating multiple lesions before refill
  • 6 interchangeable freeze heads — match the head to lesion size and freeze depth
  • Portable — use in any consulting room, no fixed installation
  • No tool sterilization needed — spray application avoids direct device-to-skin contact

Specification

Capacity 350 ml liquid nitrogen reservoir
Cryogen Liquid nitrogen (LN₂, −196 °C)
Freeze heads included 6 interchangeable heads (varied diameters/depths)
Application Direct-spray cryotherapy
Operation Hand-held, single-operator
Intended user Dermatologists, dermatology nurses, clinics
Anesthesia Not required for most superficial procedures
Important: The cryogun ships without liquid nitrogen (LN₂ cannot be shipped via standard freight). You must source liquid nitrogen separately from a local medical gas supplier and fill the reservoir at point of use. Liquid nitrogen at −196 °C causes severe cold burns on skin contact — always wear cryogen-safe protective gloves and follow your facility’s safe handling protocol.
