Will these fit my 10 mL pipettor?
The universal cone geometry fits the vast majority of 10 mL pipettors. If in doubt, email us a photo of your pipettor's tip mount — we'll confirm before you order.
Are the tips pre-sterilized?
No — they ship non-sterile. Autoclave in-house before use if your workflow requires sterility. Standard cycle: 121 °C, 15 psi, 15 min.
Are they filter tips (barrier)?
No, these are standard non-filter tips. If you need filter/barrier tips for RNA/DNA work, contact us for the filter version.
Can I use them with a 5 mL pipettor?
Not recommended — the 10 mL cone geometry won't seal properly on a 5 mL pipettor. See our 5 mL universal tips for that.
What's the shelf life?
Unopened polypropylene tips have effectively unlimited shelf life if stored dry at room temperature.
