Should I get this or the $5,499 Endodontic model?
This ($2,499) if you're a restorative / oral surgery / implant dentist wanting LED + 250mm working distance + table-clamp mount. Endodontic ($5,499) if you're an endodontist wanting 200mm working distance + halogen (twin-bulb redundancy) + full floor stand for permanent operatory installation.
How long do LED bulbs last?
30,000-50,000 hours (5-8 years at typical clinical use). LED module replacement stocked $250. No mid-case bulb changes like halogen.
Can I add a camera?
Yes — choose an accessory package at checkout: Beam Splitter (+$900), Beam Splitter + CCD Camera (+$2,200), or Beam Splitter + CCD Camera + LCD Monitor (+$3,000). The camera mounts on the beam splitter's C-mount port.
Is focusing manual or motorized?
Fine focusing is manual. Motorized focus is not offered on this model.
Wall / ceiling mount?
Table-clamp is standard and a wheeled floor stand is +$499. Wall + ceiling mounts available as separate accessories on request.
