Pessaries & Intimate Health Products — Strict No-Return Policy
Opened or used pessaries cannot be accepted for return or refund under any circumstances. This is a strict policy for hygiene and sterilisation safety reasons — a pessary that has been removed from its sealed pouch or has been inserted cannot be restocked or reused. This applies to all ring pessaries, ring-with-support pessaries, Gellhorn pessaries, fitting packs and any related intimate-health silicone product.
What is eligible: Sealed, unopened pessaries in their original sterile pouch may be returned within 30 days for a refund, less shipping. If you are unsure of your size, please contact us on WhatsApp at +1-669-265-9353 before opening the package and we will guide you through a fitting check.
Wrong size received? If we shipped you the wrong size due to our error, we will replace it free of charge. Email sales@scimedstore.com with your order number and photos of the unopened pouch within 7 days of delivery.
30-Day Return Policy (Non-Intimate Items)
For products outside the intimate-health category (ophthalmic lenses, surgical instruments, lab equipment, etc.), we offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your item. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with all tags attached and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact us at sales@scimedstore.com to request a return authorization. Do not send items back without prior approval — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Damages & Incorrect Items
Inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at sales@scimedstore.com within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue promptly. Please include clear photos of the product, packaging and shipping label.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- Opened or used pessaries and any opened intimate-health silicone product (hygiene/sterilisation policy — see top of page)
- Opened or used medical devices of any kind
- Sterile-packed surgical instruments where the seal has been broken
- Custom or personalized orders
- Sale items and clearance items
- Gift cards
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
Unused, unopened medical devices in original sealed packaging are eligible for return within 30 days.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, initiate a return for the original item and place a new order once your return is accepted. For pessary sizing exchanges, we offer a 3-size Home Fitting Pack — the recommended way to find the correct size without breaking the seal on the wrong product.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason, without justification. Items must be unused, in original condition, with tags and original packaging. Proof of purchase is required. Note: The EU cooling-off right does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(e)) — this includes all pessaries and intimate-health products.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. If 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, contact us at sales@scimedstore.com.
