How to use
Pour 75 ml of sample into the reservoir behind the gate.
Release the gate using the spring-loaded lever — the gate opens instantaneously.
Time the flow as the sample travels down the graduated trough.
Read the distance reached at the chosen time interval (typically 30 seconds) — this is the Bostwick value in centimeters.
