FAQ
Single tray purchase — is a 10" only variant available?
Yes — SciMed also sells a stand-alone 10" one-piece SS kidney tray at $49.99 (single-tray SKU). This 4-piece set is bundled at ~62% of the sum of individual prices. If you need only one specific size, buy the single-tray SKU; if you need multiple sizes, the 4-piece set is the cost-effective option.
Autoclave-safe?
Yes — full SS304 medical grade, safe for standard steam autoclave (121-134°C gravity or pre-vac), ETO, gamma, chemical sterilization. Follow facility SOP for turnaround.
Difference between "kidney tray" and "emesis basin"?
Same tool, different names. "Kidney tray" = OR / surgical / veterinary terminology (curved kidney-shape). "Emesis basin" = nursing / patient care terminology (same curved shape, held to patient's neck during vomiting). This SS set serves both use cases.
Cover / lid available?
These trays ship without covers (open trays). For sterile field applications requiring tray + cover, purchase covers separately (email us for compatible sizes) or use standard sterile drapes.
