Clinical-grade 8-tube centrifuge with copper motor and built-in timer. 3,500-4,000 RPM swing-rotor separation for pathology, biochemistry, and clinical lab workflows. Vibration-mounted motor + 5-step regulator + autoclavable 15 mL tubes — the workhorse configuration for small labs and pathology practices.
Why this centrifuge
- Copper motor — copper windings run cooler and last longer than aluminum equivalents in high-cycle daily use
- 5-step speed regulator — set the right RPM for serum separation, PRP, urine sediment, or basic cell prep
- Resiliently mounted motor — cushioned mounts minimize vibration for stable operation on standard lab benches
- Built-in timer — set-and-walk-away spins; no manual stopwatch required
- Autoclavable 15 mL tubes — reusable, sterilizable, standard laboratory format
- Powder-coated steel body — chemical-resistant, easy to wipe down
Typical clinical workflows
- Serum and plasma separation (blood chemistry, immunoassays)
- Urine sediment preparation for microscopy
- PRP (platelet-rich plasma) small-volume prep
- Cell pellet washing (basic microbiology and cytology)
- School and college biology teaching labs

Frequently asked questions
Will this work on US 110 V mains?
The unit is 220 V native. We include a step-up transformer sized for the motor draw. If you need a 110 V native unit, email us before ordering — we can source a US-spec variant.
Are the tubes included?
Yes. 8 autoclavable 15 mL polypropylene tubes ship with the unit.
What is the g-force at max RPM?
Approximately 1,900-2,400 × g depending on rotor radius, sufficient for serum, urine sediment, and basic cell separation. Not intended for high-g molecular biology work (>10,000 × g).
Is there a warranty?
90-day manufacturer warranty on motor and controls. Damaged-in-shipping units are replaced free.
Do you accept clinic and school purchase orders?
Yes. Email sales@scimedstore.com with your tax-exempt certificate.
